(CR)2 en Conferencia “Adaptation Futures 2014”

aldunce_brasil(18 de mayo) Entre el 12 y 16 de mayo se realizó en Fortaleza Ceará, Brasil, la Third International Climate Change Adaptation Conference, actividad en que en nuestro Centro tuvo una importante participación con presentaciones orales, exposición de posters, facilitación de paneles y charlas, dando cuenta del trabajando se realiza en la línea de Dimensión Humana.

Paulina Aldunce, Investigadora del (CR)2, fue parte del Comité Organizador y del Comité Científico de la Conferencia, presentó una charla keynote speaker: “Is climate change framed as ‘business as usual’ or as a challenging issue? The practitioners’ dilema”.También participó en un panel para discutir la interface ciencia/política para la adaptación, junto con organizar y facilitar el panel internacional “Climate extremes and disaster management”.

Roxana Bórquez, investigadora del (CR)2 también formó parte del Comité Científico de la Conferencia, y presentó, a salón lleno, los resultados de su investigación, “Gap between science and public policy: Climate change research in Chile”.
