Resumen: The primary focus of this workshop is to facilitate an understanding of how different atmospheric dispersion models can be effectively applied to address various research and policy questions. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to explore the practical use of emission inventories alongside air pollution models. The workshop will feature hands-on experiences and practical examples of different models.

Charla «Modelling the formation and evolution of atmospheric pollutants – a look into detailed chemical mechanisms». Expone: Dr. Roberto Sommariva, University of Birmingham (UK)
Resumen: This workshop will look at the tools and techniques available to study the chemical formation, evolution, and loss of pollutants in the atmosphere. The participants will learn, with practical exercises, how to run a box model and how to interpret the results of complex, highly detailed chemical mechanisms to understand the chemical processes that control atmospheric pollution.
